ANR History

All Nations Resources was founded in 1998 with the aim of bringing churches to work together towards sending short-term missionary teams to places where opportunities to spread the Gospel of Jesus could be found. The teams would:

  1. Identify social/educational needs in the places visited by the teams;
  2. Create projects with the churches involved to meet the identified needs;
  3. Train personnel from the churches involved for the implementation of the projects.

The first steering committee was composed of Marcos Barros (chairman), David Marshall, Cesar Pereira, June Richards and Trevor Payne, all pastors of churches in Brazil and in the UK.

ANR worked until 2002 under the legal umbrella of Go to the Nations Ministries Trust, a registered charity in the UK. In 2002 it became registered as a UK charity in its own right.

Although so far the vision has not being fulfilled in its entirety, a number of missionary journeys were made to India, Western Africa and Eastern Europe. ANR also contributed towards the relief of major catastrophic events during recent years:

Apart from one-off contributions in the above events, ANR has developed partnerships to help in other ongoing projects (see under PROJECTS)

Our vision for the future (already started) is to expand the partnerships, the projects and the sending of teams. We want to organise ourselves better and be more effective in our communication with the existing and the potential sponsors.

We praise the name of our Lord Jesus for what has been achieved so far, and we trust that His grace will enable us to move forward and participate in the expansion of His kingdom on earth.
